STANDARD PACKING To facilitate rapid shipping, we will ship only the quantity listed as the standard box, crate or unit. Included with most items ordered is a full color picture. All pictures are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission. All orders will be processed in the order of receipt. Precooled tulips are available at no charge but must be ordered before July 31st. Amaryllis and Peonies are available from October – December. All others are available from September until mid January unless sold out earlier, so order early and specify your shipping date. SHIPPING AND SHIPPING RATES Orders will be shipped FedEx ground, UPS, or motorfreight, F.O.B. Greenwood, South Carolina. Sorry, no COD’s accepted. Orders over $2000 will be prepaid to destination. Orders under $2000, 15% shipping & handling will be added with a minimum charge of $10.00. PAYMENT First time customers and customers without prior credit approval, please include full payment with order. Credit applications are available for any customer requiring a credit line of over $500.00 per season. We reserve the right to decline credit for any reason. VISA and MasterCard are gladly accepted. BILLING Packing lists are included with each shipment and invoices are mailed the same day the orders are shipped. Statements are mailed on the 1st of each month; payments not received by this date will appear on the next month’s statement. A 1½ % monthly interest charge will be added 30 days from invoice date. The minimum finance charge will be 50¢. Full payment is expected within 60 days. All accounts will be held open for 90 days, after which time we reserve the right to take additional measures in the collection of delinquent accounts. Customers will be charged for these recovery services. Returned checks will be redeposited once and your account will be charged a $25.00 fee. Prices are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuations. This listing replaces all previous price lists. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedies for any loss or damages shall be, at seller’s option, REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE GOODS SOLD, OR REPLACEMENT IN KIND AND QUANTITY. In no event shall Marlboro Bulb Company be liable for any other incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profits) of any kind, whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory. DAMAGES AND SHORTAGESDue to the highly perishable nature of bulbs and plants, all items must be unpacked and inspected immediately. All shortages or damages must be reported to us within 2 days of receipt. Please do not dispose of the goods as you may be required to return them to our warehouse before credit can be issued; however, do not return to us without prior approval. We offer no warranty against weather damage, poor soil conditions or improper handling and storage. Please treat all bulbs and plants as perishable items and follow recommended planting instructions for your area.
